a. Include the date of Independence, languages spoken, types of foods, –Ghana officially the Republic of Ghana, is a country in West Africa. Ghana covers an area of 238,535 km2(92,099 sq mi), spanning diverse biomes that range from coastal savannas to tropical rainforests. Ghana has about 33 million people. Ghana is the second most populous country in West Africa, after Nigeria. The capital is Accra. Other major cities are Kumasi, Tamale and Sekondi-Takoradi.
b. Include some unique histories (good, interesting)- Ghana was the first country south of the Sahara to gain independence in 1957.

important to the history and culture). The first president of Ghana was Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. Kofi Annan was the first African secretary general of the United Nations
