Senegal

The name of the organization shall be Senegalese Association of Minnesota (SAM). It shall be a nonprofit incorporated under the laws of the State of Minnesota.

Senegalese Association of Minnesota (SAM) is organized exclusively for charitable, scientific, and education purposes.

The purpose of this corporation is: to support education, social and information activities to foster the social, cultural, educational and economic welfare of the population of Senegalese descent in Minnesota, to bridge the social gap between the Senegalese population and their American counterparts and to increase public awareness of the cultural diversity of Senegal as well as the deep socio-economic problems Senegal and the African continent are facing.
